Tis Giagias - Vegetable Trahana - 500g

About the product: One in a long line of Middle Eastern pastas, cooked and served in a measured amount of water. It comes straight out of the Mediterranean courtyards, where women patiently kneaded small lumps of dough and boiled them in water.
Keep in a dry and cool place.

Recipe (Serves 4)

• 1.2 L water

• 120 g trahanas

• 50 g butter

• salt and pepper

Instructions:
Bring the water to a boil. Add the salt and butter. Once the butter melts, add the trahanas. Let it simmer over low heat for about 15–20 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve.
