About the product: The Kalamata olive is an iconic Greek variety, prized worldwide for its depth of flavor and natural quality. At Sativa Olive Culture, the olives are patiently matured in brine for several months, allowing bitterness to fade naturally and flavor to develop. The result is a crisp, flavorful olive rich in character and natural benefits. These olives are pitted (the stone has been removed), so they are ready to eat or cook with straight away, no need to worry about the pit.
About the company: SATIVA was founded in 1997 in the locality of Molaoi, Laconia Prefecture, with agricultural products standardization and main product the edible olive as its core businesses.
We established the company motivated by our love for the “olive civilization” and the deep-rooted belief that a healthy human relationship with the land, nature and its products leads to a better quality of life.
We chose a region full of olive groves where the “Kalamata” variety is mainly cultivated. So, we work inside our natural environment “cultivating” a different relationship with the land.
Our main aim, though, is to “cultivate” trust relationships and long-term partnerships with our clients. These relationships have lead to SATIVA emerging as one of the most reliable suppliers to medium and large sized food-trading businesses. SATIVA specialises in Kalamata olives but also in the broader range of the Greek olive varieties, working with ideas which differentiate our products and provide a competitive advantage to our clients.
All our products are now offered in a renewed look and packaging which totally reflect our “olive civilization” philosophy and make them even more attractive to consumers.
