Once baked, you only need to pour the ready-made syrup over it, which you defrost while your pie is baking, so there is not a minute's delay in enjoying it!

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: Baked straight from the freezer. No need to defrost!
Preheat oven to 180°C, fan oven.
Remove the lid of the package and place the cake, with its own paper tray, on the lowest shelf of the oven.
Bake for about 40-45min (depending on oven output).
Check to see if it is cooked by piercing the centre of the product with a thin knife, all the way to the bottom of the baking tray. If the knife comes out clean, then it's done. If there is a residue of the mixture then extend the baking time.
Once you take the cake out of the oven, pour the syrup over the hot cake. Use a knife to scrape the cake off the sides to draw out all the syrup, then serve.
For best results, let the syrup sit for an hour before serving. Dip the envelope with the syrup (unopened) into boiling water and leave it until the contents of the envelope become liquid. Cut the envelope and coat the dessert.
