About the product: Fine Voion lentils produced by the Greek varieties “Samos”, “Demetra” and “Thessaly”, selected and perfectly adapted to Greek and local soil conditions. Small lentils are small size, external color light green to cream and yellow interior. In farming areas, the soil is rich in potassium, which helps lentils being tasty and fragrant.
About the company: Western Macedonia, focusing on the plateau of Voion, has a long tradition in the cultivation of legumes. The experience of the producers, the exceptional Greek varieties, the cultivation at an altitude of over 600m, the cold winters and the mild long spring, the know-how of the company, are combined to give products of unique taste, rich in proteins and minerals, with a short cooking time, special aromas and excellent taste.
Instructions: Simply boil the lentils in water and tomato sauce together with some onion, garlic and carrot. Add salt, pepper and bay leaves or other herbs and spices of your choice. Enjoy as a soup.
