Über das Produkt: Kefalotiri ist ein unpasteurisierter Schafskäse. Dieser Hartkäse hat einen scharfen Geschmack und eine trockene Textur. Er wird typischerweise ein Jahr gereift, sodass der Geschmack ziemlich stark ist, ähnlich wie bei Romano-Käse.

Über das Unternehmen: Das Unternehmen wurde 1967 gegründet. Der Gründer Spyros Bafas, Mitglied einer Viehzuchtfamilie, schaffte es, eine kleine Käse industrie in Arta, Griechenland, aufzubauen, und seine Produkte zeichnen sich durch hervorragende Qualität und feine traditionelle Produktionsmethoden aus.
