Very few of the Greek stores also offer home delivery of Greek groceries, and even fewer offer delivery of refrigerated and frozen Greek products such as cheese (feta, manouri, anthotyro, graviera, kefalotyri), pies (bougatsa, tyropita, spanakopita, kixi, xortopita), pita bread, seafood (anchovies, sea bream, squid, octopus) and meat (gyros, sausages, souvlaki etc.). Bakaliko brings these to your door in dedicated cold-chain vehicles with specialised handling. Refrigerated and frozen products can only be ordered with our delivery service, not with PostNL.

We take the transportation of frozen and refrigerated food products very seriously, as food safety is crucial. Our deliveries use dedicated cold-chain vehicles, specialised handling and strict timing, so your chilled products arrive in perfect condition. Our warehouse follows strict hygiene protocols and proper storage principles, and our refrigerated and frozen storage rooms are tracked continuously with temperature sensors to ensure that there are no fluctuations. Our warehouse is inspected monthly, is temperature controlled and all the equipment is checked by certified professionals.

Bakaliko delivers to all of the Netherlands. In the Amsterdam area (Amsterdam, Hoofddorp, Almere, Haarlem, Zaandam, Purmerend, Weesp and surroundings) our own team delivers in the morning, from Tuesday to Friday. Evening delivery, and delivery in the rest of the country, is done on Tuesdays and Fridays by our cold-chain delivery partner. You choose between day delivery (09:00–17:00) and evening delivery (17:00–22:00), pick the delivery day that suits you from the days available for your area, follow your order on a live map, and cancel or reschedule for free if you are not available.

Prefer shipping? PostNL takes dry (non-refrigerated) products to the Netherlands for €4 (free from €40, 2–3 working days) and to Belgium and Germany for €7 (free from €70, 3–6 working days), with track & trace. The minimum order value is €30. You can also pick up your order free of charge from our Amsterdam store or our Zwanenburg pickup point, on specific days.
