About the company: Pavlidis dark chocolate was produced for the first time in 1861 in the confectionery of Spyridon Pavlidis on Aiolou and Vyssis Street in the center of Athens. Since then, the company has expanded with new facilities and many more products that pleasure its customers.

The chocolate is really nice and tasty. Recently I started to wonder about the rain-forest friendly labels on chocolate wrappings etc. I bought some kinda cheap Belgium bonbons with these labels on it and they where also tasty. I checked Mars and Ferrero which are very large companies but I could not find these labels on their products. I found it strange. The labelling might be corrupt or these big companies just refuse to invest a part of their profit into the future. I will have to do some more research on it. I guess I've put it on a side-track. To come back to the taste. It really is nice and I would recommend to check it out.
