It is produced exclusively on the island of Thasos by processing ripe olives, which we prepare using the old traditional method with coarse sea salt. This is a traditional olive product that has made the island of Thasos famous worldwide.

About the company: With love for our island, with love for the olive! The cultivation of olives on Thasos is almost a tradition. Every family has the ability to produce their own yearly supply of olive oil. However, the demand for this particular product, due to its exceptional quality, laid the foundation for the development of intensive cultivation to meet the growing demand. Thus, in 1993, ELTHA began modestly producing and packaging the edible Throuba olives of Thasos, making use of the family’s olive groves. The family’s passion and dedication to olives led to the creation of a range of products, which soon secured their place not only in the local and Greek markets but also internationally.
