Over het bedrijf : De familie Hatzigavrielidis begon haar betrokkenheid bij vlees in de jaren 1970, toen ze hun eerste slagerij openden in Amisiana, Kavala, en tien jaar later volgde de tweede.
In 1997 werden de visie en ambitie van de familie Hatzigavrielidis om hun kennis en ervaring in de vleessector te ontwikkelen werkelijkheid met de oprichting van BIKRE, een van de meest moderne industriële vleesproductie-eenheden in Griekenland. In zeer korte tijd maakte de toegenomen vraag en de opwaartse trend het noodzakelijk om het bedrijf naar grotere locaties te verplaatsen. Sinds 2011 opereert BIKRE daarom in eigendomspanden in Amisiana, Kavala.
